NCIDQ | LEED GA

An aspiring creative, with a passion for traveling, photography and design. I recently passed my NCIDQ exams, and am very excited to call myself a licensed Interior Designer! I started my career in my first professional role as a Designer at the International Architecture firm SmithGroup. Before that, I graduated in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and a Minor in Architectural Studies from the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, at Arizona State University. I am currently a Master of Interior Architecture student for the Wellington Faculty of Architecture and Design Innovation at Victoria University or Wellington.

I value the opportunities to travel and experience new cities, learning about the unique architectural histories. Being born and raised in New Zealand and while living the other half of my life in the United States, it has given me an understanding of the differences that culture and an environment can bring in design. Having recently travelled around several countries in Europe, my life journey so far has given me a diverse outlook on human experiences within spaces, inspired by cultural influences. I am always eager to learn and try new ideas and am looking forward to the unique opportunity I may have ahead. I am back in school, eager to explore more deeply into interior architecture and design with a goal of challenging my perspectives. I love technology and applying it to the design process. I have recently been researching and working on my initial thesis proposal question: What are the digital tools that offer new possibilities of investigation and intervention in the middle of this digital revolution? What could come next?
