Project Description. Balfour Beatty is a British multinational infrastructure group based in the United Kingdom with capabilities in construction services, support services and infrastructure investments. They hired SmithGroup to re-develop their typical design guidelines for all new expanding offices and relocations. 

ObjectiveTo create 3D renders to show the client the possible design solution for their new spaces and branding guidelines.

My RoleI was given an existing test fit, new implemented guidelines when it came to space typologies, furniture type and branding requirements I had one week to develop 3D renders of the entire space, developing a design concept, branding and overall design cohesion throughout.

This test fit represents the approved guidelines for Balfour Beatty, in regards to space requirements, and furniture typologies. It shows three variations of desks for different types of workers, a variety of meeting and focus spaces, and a large break area adjacent to a training room. Below you can see how the space was broken up into different zones with different intended uses.
