My Role. To design the board room regarding layout, finishes, ceiling design and custom design board room table.
I was inspired by the raw construction that surrounded the Caterpillar brand. My first initial throughts for designing the custom board room table was to use an I beam or actual steel support as the foundation and supporting base of the table. Then to use a raw exposed wood with technical details for power and audio controls. You ca see above, my first renditions of the table, and below, the final renders of the entire space for the board room.

I was also tasked to choose the finishes for the core restrooms within the building. I chose to use neutral finishes for the countertops and appliances, and focused the color on the backsplash wall. I selected a simple rhombus tile with three colors, then designed a pattern as shown above to give the wall some character and uniqueness.
