Project Description. Located in the heart of downtown Phoenix, adjacent to sports, entertainment, and cultural venues, the Residences at Collier Center is a true Mixed-Use tower project, providing 379 multifamily residential units, 2-story retail food/beverage spaces, and back of house delivery, storage and support spaces. A second floor amenity deck includes a pool, green space, and other features.
My Role. Create render designs of interior units, including a custom bathroom vanity. Locate and layout accessibility units per American Housing Act, America with Disabilities Act and International Building Code. Complete full interior construction document set to receive building permit.

floorplans
Above are the typical floorplans for the building. The first shows level 01, containing studios, one bedrooms and the guest units for non full time residents. The second shows level 02-11, containing all the varieties of unit types. The third is only specific to level 12 where the tower portion of the building starts. And then the fourth shows level 13-25.
ada units
I was tasked with identifying, planning and drafting the needed accessibility units per the American Housing Act, America with Disabilities Act and International Building Code. There needed to be a certain percentage of units that were ADA accessible. And at least one of each type of unit among the studios, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom, and 4 bedroom that needed to be accessible. This is an example of how each ADA unit was to be detailed and made accessible.
interior finishes
These renders show the material and finish intent for the units. This gives an idea of the quality and levels of finish within each residential space, carried out from kitchen to bathroom.
I spent a few months working towards completing the full construction document set for the interiors of this project. Below you can see two sheets which represent what was documented for each unit. There were 36 typical units that I documents along with all the construction details for millwork, sections and elevations.
