Project Name. Papago Buttes Lobby

Project Location. Tempe, Arizona

Project Type. Tenant Improvement

Project DescriptionThis existing building is one of three on the property that shares a central courtyard and parking garage. There is an existing building overhang that consists of a series of square shapes, this design influenced the design of the lobby with angled patterning in the floor tile, a multi directional angled metal decorative ceiling and linear angled LED lighting juxtaposed in the square shaped lobby space, ceiling and wall recesses. The materiality was kept neutral with pops of color in the furniture.

ObjectiveRenovate the restrooms and lobby area and raise the finished ceiling for a more modern feel.

My Role. To assist in designing and selecting finishes for the the entire lobby, create 3D renders of the space, and draft a full construction document set for a permit.

Above you can see imagery of the existing space from my first site visit. Below are my 3D renders I produced with the new design intent. I then continued on to produce a full CD set for this project and it was constructed.
